At the Visitor Centre you can: * walk virtually through the Piusa sand caves using a 3D computer model and search for the altars located in the Museum Cave * explore exhibits created by the AHHAA Centre * watch films about the formation of the caves and protected plant and animal species * take a closer look at the sands * delve into the life of bats * make sand bottles and sand cards in the craft room (pre-order required) * use a 50-seat seminar room for conferences and seminars Open 1.06 - 2.09 EVERY DAY 11-18 ; 1.05 - 31.05 EVERY DAY 12-16 Please check the website for opening hours! In winter, the Piusa Caves Visitor Centre open only on Saturdays and Sundays 12:00-16:00. Other times by prior arrangement.
